This weeks Metal Moment goes to: Slipknot

Slipknot hails from the land of Iowa and are quite the successful metal band, chances are, you have heard of Slipknot. With their signature mask they wear on stage and 9 members to complete the heavy metal massacre they unleash upon the world.

Recently the band has been reduced to 8 members with the death of Paul Gray (bassist) R.I.P Paul Gray.

In my opinion, their older stuff is the best, its harder, heavier, and more threatening. Fans were shocked, but embraced some of the new sounds from their 3rd and 4th album.
