Metal Allegiance First Webisode Promises an Amazing Album [Video]

I've been hearing a lot of great things about this amazing all-star album that's coming out on September 18th, featuring a huge list of amazing musicians, including Gary Holt, Randy Blythe, Phil Anselmo, Rex Brown, Chuck Billy, and many more. It's called Metal Allegiance, and is being led by Mike Portnoy, Alex Skolnick, and David Ellefson.

This is a full-on metal album, with guest musicians on every song. Many times these albums come out, and they're chock-full of garbage, with a few gems. But this one is already sounding like an amazing, brutal, incredible album!

Check out webisode one, featuring the lead song, 'Gift of Pain', featuring Randy Blythe and Gary Holt! This sounds incredible!

This has just jumped up to high on my list of new metal albums I have to get.

I can't wait for the next webisode, and I hope they do one for every song on the album! And a long 'making of' video would be welcome, too.
