These are the best of times for Megadeth. The band's latest album, Dystopia, has received rave reviews and there's a lot of interest in the current lineup of the band with the additions of drummer Chris Adler and guitarist Kiko Loureiro. During our recent chat with Megadeth's leader Dave Mustaine, the frontman shared that the camaraderie within the current lineup is there not only onstage, but offstage, as well.

"I’m so close with Chris and Kiko right now and David [Ellefson] I've been friends with for 30 years," says Mustaine in the video above. He adds, "We spend so much time together that I can tell you in the times that we've been together as a band so far, the tour we just did was six weeks and we spent more time together on that six week tour than any given year of any previous lineup."

In the video, the rocker reveals some of the activities that have kept them busy while on tour, including bonding over watching the film Braveheart and visiting a Guinness factory. See Mustaine discussing the good times he's having with the current lineup in the video above.

Megadeth are keeping the good times going as the band is currently on tour in the United States. The group is rocking across the country with Suicidal Tendencies, Children of Bodom and Havok. See their tour dates here.
