Grand Rapids Police have arrested two people in connection with a shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of St. Isidore Catholic Church on Diamond Street.

The school building associated with the church was locked down briefly, but officials say that there were not children in the building at the time of the shooting.

A 25-year-old man was shot in the stomach, according to GRPD. It's unclear how severe the victim's injuries are at this time.
