You know how in the movies, there's always that scene where someone on a flight gets sick and then a flight attendant yells, "Is there a doctor onboard?"  Well, something similar happened last Thursday when retired Air Force Colonel Tom McCay passed out on a flight from Atlanta to Houston.  Luckily for Colonel McCay, though, the flight was FILLED with doctors!  As it turns out, there was a big medical conference in Houston last weekend and many of the passengers on board were doctors who were headed there.

About five doctors started working on McCay and they quickly discovered that he was just dehydrated.  It was also determined that he had taken some medication with alcohol, and that may have contributed to his medical issue.

Luckily, he was stabilized fairly quickly, so the pilot didn't need to make an emergency landing.
