A father in Kentucky left his child in the back of his parked car - windows down, keys in the ignition and engine running. Not necessarily the worst, but some people might not realize that the probability of your child getting kidnapped goes up exponentially when you leave them alone in a running car.

Although the child wasn’t suffocating or overheating, Mark Hermann, a local Kentucky man, saw the scene and went to investigate. He spoke with the child who said his mother was at work and his father ran into a store. When the boy’s father returned to the car, Hermann confronted him and got a bunch of snarky comments back, including "He's not out of my eyesight."

Is that enough? Is keeping your child in your eyesight keeping them safe? What’s your opinion?  Comment below!
