Man Attempts To Sexually Assault His Grandmother

The Gullah Sentinel, recently reported a story of a 20-year-old man who attempted to sexually assault his grandmother.  North Carolina man, Samuel Markus Dye, is being charged with attempted murder and attempted criminal sexual conduct.  According to police, Dye entered his Grandmother's house at about 4am with a hammer in his hand complaining about not having a girlfriend.

The woman told police that Dye exposed himself to her, exclaiming that he was going to "get some."  The woman's son, 43, heard screaming and went to check on his mother.  He found Dye with the hammer and stopped his assault.  Police later arrested Dye and he is now being held at Cheseter County Detention Center.
