Grand Rapids is looking to form an Army of Readers, and you can be a part of it.

Echelon Grand Rapids is looking for folks who love reading who can help them out. March is National Reading Month, and Echelon wants the community to celebrate with them.

The organization has a pretty lofty goal - the want to spread the joy of reading to over 1,000 Kindergarten-3rd grade students, but they're going to need your help to make that happen.

Echelon is looking for 70+ young professional volunteers to read to kids across Grand Rapids. The event will take place on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. (volunteers will read to two different classrooms.)

Echelon will provide the book, the activity directions, and the supplies - all you need to do is show up and read to kids!

If you have any questions, please contact them directly at EchelonGR@usc.salvationarmy.org
