LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins Leads This Week’s Nintendo Downloads

This week's Nintendo Downloads offerings aren't going destroy whatever space you have left on your favorite Nintendo device, but you'll still probably need to make room anyway.

And though the choices might seem light when it comes to heavy-hitting triple-A titles, we've got a few hidden gems that should make for a pleasant gaming week for you Nintendo fans. There's only one big new title debuting this week, so your wallet can rest easy and enjoy its rotundness for a bit longer. Still, there's a Nintendo eShop sale that might do a little damage.

Without further ado, here is the list of downloads this week:

• LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins (Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS) - You might already be playing through Chase McCain's adventures on the Wii U's LEGO City Undercover, but now you can check out where he got his start in this handheld prequel! Look for it in the eShop on April 21st, 2013.
• Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity Downloadable Content (Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS) - This batch of DLC adds the Strongest Trail dungeon for players to explore. Pokefans should also know that the Poke Forest is still available as a free download, but only until April 30th, 2013.
• Pokedex 3D Pro (Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS) - This app is on sale for $9.99 until 9AM PDT on April 19th, 2013. Pick it up so you can catch them all.
• Liberation Maiden (Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS) - This excellent game from SUDA51 of Grasshopper Manufacture is currently n sale for $4.99 until 9AM PDT on May 30th, 2013. You'll control Shoko, the president of Japan in the future, as she rides around on her robot to destroy aliens. What could be cooler?
• Crimson Shroud (Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS) - This game brings the tabletop role-playing game experience to the 3DS, complete with dice rolls and little figurines. You can download it for $4.99 until 9AM PDT on May 30th, 2013.
• Aero Porter (Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS) - This puzzler tasks you with sorting color-coded luggage at an airport, making sure they all go to the proper conveyor belts in order to get to their owners' final destinations. This game is also on sale, priced at $2.99 until 9AM PDT on May 30th, 2013.
• Dress to Play: Cute Witches (Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS) - The game is exactly like what its title suggests and lets you play dress-up with a witch. Download it for a discounted price of $1.99 until 9AM PDT on April 24th, 2013.

Some other notable downloads includes the season finale for BearShark, the hit Nintendo Video series, as well as the following games: Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns 3D (3DS), Mystery Murders: Jack the Ripper (3DS), Puzzler Brain Games (3DS and DSi), Puzzler World 2013 (3DS and DSi), Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo, Tetris: Axis, Witch & Hero, and Working Dawgs: Rivet Retriever.
