Legendary game show host Monty Hall, best known for hosting the show "Let's Make a Deal", has passed away at the age of 96.

The New York Times reports that Hall passed away Saturday morning of heart failure in his home in Beverly Hills.

"Let's Make a Deal" was a show that Hall co-created, and began in 1963. The show remained on the air for decades. The shown was known for asking contestants to choose a prize behind one of three doors. People in the crowd also wore garish outfits and, sometimes, full on costumes.
