Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage are teaming up for an all-star tour this fall. The metal favorites will co-headline The Orbit Room in Grand Rapids on November 20.

Lamb of God have been through a lot to say the least. Frontman Randy Blythe was arrested in the Czech Republic last year and charged with manslaughter in the death of a 19-year fan who died at a 2010 concert. The singer spent five months in jail and was cleared of all charges earlier this year. Drummer Chris Adler said that Blythe's trial almost ended the band.

“Not only were we not able to generate any income, but we ended up having to pay more than half a million dollars in legal fees,” Adler says. “It bankrupted the entire band, no money left for any kind of payroll or anything. When Randy was acquitted, everything was on the line at that point. Either it was completely over, or we had a chance to get back out there and pay these bills and get ourselves back on our feet.”

Killswitch Engage have been touring non-stop since original vocalist Jesse Leach rejoined the band in early 2012 following the departure of former singer Howard Jones. The band released their sixth studio album, Disarm the Descent, earlier this year. Killswitch Engage were most recently in Grand Rapids for a headlining show at The Intersection a month ago (June 16). Check out Metalhead Ned's interview with Jesse Leach and Adam D here.

Joining Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage are Testament and Huntress. Tickets go on sale this Friday (July 19) at 10AM at the Orbit Room box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster.com, or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
