If you haven't seen trailers for L.A. Noire, then what they heck are you doing! This is one game that should not be overlooked this year. This game is bridging the gap of what can be done in video games.

A small description of what the game is about here:
L.A. Noire takes place in 1940's Hollywood. You are Cole Phelps, a rookie police officer that is trying to work his way up in the Police Department. You go from crime scene to crime scene solving murders, finding clues, chasing suspects, etc. (Everything a cop does) The game apparently has an AMAZING story and actually was submitted to a Film Festival and WON! But the best part? You need to interrogate suspects. But how?

Using the breakthrough technology of "Motion Scan." Team Bondi (The developer) was able to capture FULL human emotions and body movement of the actors in the game. Such as eye movement, face twitches, non verbal gestures, hair movement, EVERYTHING a human body is capable of!

By the way, I say game of the year with a question mark, why? Well, this year is spitting out Elder Scrolls V, Mass Effect 3, Uncharted 3, Gears of War 3. So these games may give L.A. Noire a run for its money.

L.A. Noire is set for release on May 17 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3
