Dubstep seems to be growing in popularity more and more everyday, kind of like auto-tuning in pop music. Now it seems like it is seeping into the veins of Nu-Metal group KORN. Well, according to Jonathan Davis, Dubstep fans are more hardcore than metal fans.

Now I am not a Dubstep fan....personally, if it the music does not have a guitar that sounds like machine gun or makes you headbang...then it's not metal. Which could bring up HOURS of debate, but to say that Dubstep rages harder than metal? That's debateable...

In an interview with MTV Hive, Jonathan Davis spilled these words:

"So you know how the crowds are. Metal shows are all hate, like, "I'm going to f___ you up in the mosh pit." Electronic shows are all peace and love. They rage harder than metal fans. I played a show in New York and then watched NERO who sold out Webster Hall. That crowd went ten times harder than any metal crowd I've seen in my life. And NERO are soft dubstep, they're pop dubstep."

The interview also goes on to say how the hit show "GLEE" is welcome to use KORN music....that is not metal...

Sorry Davis, I can respect your diversity in music, but mosh pits and metal shows are a damn good time and us metalheads are all FAMILY. Also, not every metal show is full of hate, maybe we just like having a good time. Dubstep fans according to Davis are more "Peace and Love." Uh oh.....we may see KORN at the next hippie rally....

What do you think metalheads? In or out?
