Korn will take their reinvented sound on the road starting next month. The nu-metal pioneers are touring in support of their heavily dubstep-influenced album, The Path of Totality, and will stop by The Fillmore in downtown Detroit.

Guitar World reports that electronic music DJ Kill The Noise, who helped produce Korn's latest single "Narcissistic Cannibal", will join the band for this leg of the tour. The trek actually kicks off in Detroit on February 23.

Korn released The Path of Totality in December and have faced passionate reaction from fans on both sides of the spectrum. The album is quite the departure from 1998's Follow the Leader and 1999's Issues. However, frontman Jonathan Davis claims the group incorporated elements of dubstep long before the genre was even created.

Tickets for the Detroit show go on sale this Friday at 10am at the Fillmore box office and LiveNation.com.
