Kid’s Finger Cut Off, But Texas Elementary School Doesn’t Call 911 [Video]

So, if part of your finger falls off, it's safe to say that it's a medical emergency.

But when a portion of 6-year-old Amazing Johnson's finger was severed at a Houston area school when it got stuck in a door, the school's officials didn't think it was a very big deal and didn't call 911. Instead, they just scooped up her finger chunk, threw it in a plastic bag and called her mother to ask her to take Amazing to the hospital.

And, yes, the child's name is Amazing Johnson.
