To ensure no kid goes hungry, the Grand Rapids Public Library will be offering free lunches this summer to kids 18 and under.

According to their Facebook post, lunches will be available on Tuesday's from 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. and Wednesday's from 5:30 p.m to 6:30 p.m.

The free lunches are part of Michigan's Summer Food Service Program. The program provides healthy lunches to kids in lower income areas, all around the state, to make sure that they are still getting the necessary nutritional value while out of school. According to the website, the meals are designed after other federal child nutrition programs.

The free meals will be at the main library in Grand Rapids.
