It was only a matter of time before Michigan-loving Kid Rock would announce a Grand Rapids date for his upcoming North American tour next year. The Detroit native will come to the Van Andel Arena in downtown this Spring.

Kid Rock's official Facebook page broke the news about the new tour dates. The 2013 Rebel Soul Tour, named after the artist's latest album, will stop by the Van Andel Arena on April 3. Back-to-back dates at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw are also included. Ticket information for the new tour dates weren't released as of this writing, but details should be announced soon. Buckcherry are scheduled to open all dates. Check out the latest addition to the tour itinerary below.

Kid Rock released Rebel Soul, his ninth studio album, on November 19. The American Badass produced the record himself, a departure from 2010's Born Free that featured legendary producer Rick Rubin at the helm.
