The mighty Judas Priest has been tearing through the country, supporting their new album Redeemer of Souls, and sadly, they missed Grand Rapids.  But there is still a chance for us to go see them, as they're headlining a day of Rock on the Range 2015!

The three day festival hits Columbus in May, and Judas Priest will be wrapping up day one, probably.  If they keep the setup similar to this year's, when GNR played the first day, then I'm thinking Priest will close the show that Friday, May 15th.

I'm a huge Priest fan, and have been since I first heard Sin After Sin, back in the day.  I've seen them on pretty much every tour since 1990's Painkiller tour, when Megadeth and Testament opening up for them.  Yes, even during the Tim Owens years.

I'm still sad that one of the original members retired a few years ago, KK Downing.  But the new guy, Richie Faulkner, is an amazing guitarist, and seems to be killing it every night with the band.

I saw him when he was playing with Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris' daughter Lauren Harris.  I watched him play, and thought, "This guy is fantastic!"  A few years later, he's now in Priest.

Check out some live videos posted by Mr. Faulkner from this tour, and get ready for the Rock on the Range experience!  I know I am.
