Joe’s London Trip Day 2, Zane’s scooter + More – April 27 FBHW Show Recap
Today we started the show by airing a promo for the new Joe Stunt as part of his London Invasion. A guy won the worst half time prize at an NBA game ever. He won a year supply of 7UP from the Hornets. It turned out to be two 12 packs a month. The flashback today was miracle court for a spider bite. We were less than impressed with this “miracle” and lobbied the Vatican to have us be the authority on miracles and sainthood.
The weather over the past 24 hours has been crazy, most of the country is getting pounded by thunder storms and tornados. Free Beer told us about taking shelter in a bathroom with a bunch of guys at basketball. Space was definitely cramped and no one knew what to do once inside. A man in Kentucky was caught walking down the middle of the interstate with no shirt on in the rain. When asked why by police his response was that he needed to get to his dad to punch his face because he wouldn’t have sex with his mother. We then replayed Joes visit to Westminster Abbey to interview the guy holding his spot for the Royal Wedding.
We checked in with Joe to see how his day in London was going. We talked about what he and Steve had planned for today and some shopping he needed to get done for his stunt later. Ron Artest has made a complete turn around it seems. He was given the 2010-2011 NBA Citizenship Award. This led us to replay his interview with Dude Shadoway and talk about his rap skills. Lewis Black called in and talked with us about his new book I’m Dreaming of a Black Christmas. He also talked about Donald Trump running for President and President Obama’s birth certificate.
Free Beer’s ear worm from yesterday drew a lot of attention so we went back to that and talked about a Reverend who had it stuck in his head at inopportune times at his work. Lindsay Lohan went on Jay Leno and spoke about her recent jail sentence. She seemed sincere and understanding of the direction her life has gone. Producer Joe called in again for his D-mic stunt. His first interview was with a guy from upstate New York, small world. We also discussed his wardrobe and where he decided to change into it.
Spike’s new show Repo Games ran into some problems while filming and once again proved that repo men have a crazy job. We played the audio of Jon Stewart talking about the 9/11 first responders dealing with red tape over medical coverage. We finished the show talking about how green Zane’s scooter is and his experience getting it ready for the season. Joe also checked in and told us about the rest of their plans for the day and the other London stuff they will be doing and making videos of for the website. Talk to you on Thursday.
