Jenison 10th Grader Will Get His Wish to Meet the Red Hot Chili Peppers

A Jenison teen is going to get to meet and hang out with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in February, thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation! Mason Moerdyk, a tenth-grader at Jenison High School, has been living with Cystic Fibrosis for years, and has recently been granted his wish to meet his favorite band.

Mason is a huge lover of music, and even plays the trumpet and guitar. About a year ago, he sent in his wish to the Make a Wish Foundation to meet the Chili Peppers, and on Tuesday, his wish was granted!

He really wants to meet Flea, he's a big fan, and talks about playing bass.

In February, Mason will travel to Boston to meet the band and hang out, which is really freaking cool! Congratulations, Mason! Practice some songs, and maybe you'll get to jam with the band or something! That would be amazing!
