One of Willis' former co-workers, Michelle Schnotala, took the stand and said that she once told Willis that she owned a .22 caliber handgun. That gun later went missing from her home, and it has been determined to be the same gun that police found in a locked box in Jeffrey Willis' van. Shell casings that were found near Bletsch's body matched the gun.

Schnotala also stated on the stand that Willis had made several inappropriate comments to her over the years, including repeatedly asking her to give him a pair of her underwear.

He asked for my panties quite a bit, always wanted a pair of my underwear. - Michelle Schnotala

Willis has been housed in the Muskegon County Jail on a $1 million bond since he was arrested on May 17 in connection to the attempted abduction of a 16-year-old girl.

In addition to the open murder charge, he also faces a felony firearm charge in Bletsch's death.

This man is a very disturbing individual, and I’m very glad that we were able to get him off the streets when we did. I can’t imagine how many lives we’ve saved. - Muskegon County Prosecutor D.J. Hilson

Willis also faces charges in connection to that attempted abduction back in April, as well as child pornography charges for images police say were found on his computer.

Law enforcement also testified Wednesday about some of the things that were found on Willis' computer including what they referred to as "kidnap and kill videos" WOOD-TV8 reports that in addition to those disturbing videos, police also found a subfolder labeled "VICS", short for "victims".

That subfolder included a file titled “RSB” - Rebekah Bletsch's initials. In that folder, police found images of Bletsch, wanted posters that had come out since her death, and photos of women who looked similar to Bletsch. Police do not believe that Willis took any of the photos.

Willis is a person of interest in Jessica Heeringa's disappearance from a Norton Shores gas station in 2013. Police are still working to determine what, if any, connection Willis has to her disappearance.

Thursday morning, more charges were filed against Willis for incidents involving girls that occurred in 2011. The felony offense is punishable by up to five years in prison.

In a separate case, Willis has been accused of placing a hidden camera in his home to record girls using the bathroom.
