Jane's Addiction are ready to hit the road in support of their latest album, The Great Escape Artist. It's been confirmed that the alt rock pioneers will make a stop at the DeVos Performance Hall in Grand Rapids this March.

For a band as big as Jane's Addiction, it may seem strange to some fans that the group are not headlining arenas on this tour. The decision to scale back has a purpose, as frontman Perry Ferrell explains that they wanted to play in intimate venues.

“We chose to play as many of the great theatres that we could find because we wanted to immerse the audience in a unique experience unlike any they have ever seen at a rock show,” says Farrell. “Expect an orgy of musical and visual delights. We like orgies, and hope you do, too.”

What a silly thing to say. Of course people like orgies.

The "Theatre of the Escapists" tour will kick off February 22 in Saint Louis and will make its way to DeVos Performance Hall on March 21. Check out the full schedule below. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 20, at 10am at the DeVos Performance Hall box office, LiveNation.com and all Ticketmaster outlets.
