Jack White is coming to a television set near you next week. The Detroit native will appear on an episode of the History Channel's American Pickers.

The show is hosted by Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, who travel across the U.S. to find hidden treasures at junkyards, basements, barns and other unlikely places. NME reports that in this particular episode, the duo visit the former White Stripes frontman at his Third Man Records studio in Nashville to negotiate a trade for memorabilia. One of the items that Wolfe and Fritz want to procure is the photo booth used in the Dead Weather's video for "Hang You From The Heavens". Apparently the duo have an elephant's head to give in return. The Jack White episode of American Pickers will air January 9 at 9pm EST on the History Channel.

Since the The White Stripes split a year ago, Jack White has kept himself busy. Aside from recording music with The Dead Weather, White has collaborated with Detroit rappers Insane Clown Posse, concentrated on releasing material through his Third Man Records imprint, and even created a mobile version of his record store to hit the road.
