Jack White Produces Insane Clown Posse Song
Two of the most prominent Detroit artists are collaborating, which is also one of the most bizarre and unlikely team ups in recent memory. Former White Stripes frontman and head of Third Man Records Jack White has lent his production skills to horror rap vets Insane Clown Posse.
Rolling Stone reports that the single, entitled "Leck Mich Im Arsch" (which translates to "lick me in the arse"), will be released on White's Third Man Records imprint as a 7" vinyl single and digital download. The B-side will be a track called "Mountain Girl". The song is based on a lost piece of composition from Mozart. Yeah, THE Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Continuing the Third Man trend of releasing variant editions of their releases, "Leck Mich Im Arsch" will come in 100 tri-color copies sold through the Third Man Rolling Record Store at MI Fest '11 in Brooklyn, MI, where White's band The Raconteurs are scheduled to headline on September 17.
