Is June 22nd No Panty Day?

According to all of my social media feeds yesterday, June 22nd is 'No Panty Day.'  This sounded a bit too good to be true, so I had to do a little bit of research on the subject...

As it turns out, it is probably just a hoax.  Snopes.com, the internets primary myth debunking site, has yet to weigh in on 'No Panty Day'.  That suggests that this is a relatively new phenomenon.  And since this is the first year of 'No Panty Day',  who knows if it will catch on or not?

If you really were looking forward to checking out some half naked women... As far as I know, you can find your fill of pantyless ladies at bars that have a college night.
