It's senior prank season... but Ionia Police are NOT amused with this graffiti found on school property.

The Ionia Department of Public Safety took to Facebook to admonish the students who vandalized signs around the school, saying,

"Ionia High School class of 2018 . . . This is not the way to be remembered. Damaging school property is a crime, not a prank."

Photos appeared to show "2018" scrawled across a one way sign, a rock, and the Ionia Educational Center sign; a stop sign was also vandalized, with red spray paint sprayed over the word "Stop".

Some of the comments on the Ionia PD's post are calling for the students to be fined or denied the chance to walk in graduation. Other posters are saying this is likely the act of a few vandals and that it doesn't represent the entire class of 2018.

What do you think of the situation?
