Last week, In Flames brought some noisy metal back to Kalamazoo, while on tour with Hellyeah, From Ashes to New, and Source. I've been a fan of In Flames since I heard Colony a long time ago, so I've been looking forward to the show for a while now. They did not disappoint.

The crowd was totally ready for In Flames, after Hellyeah's great show, and In Flames kicked things off with one from Clayman, "Bullet Ride", which got everyone really going.

The band played songs from throughout their career, and a few new ones, which fit into the set well. Really different crowd interaction than Hellyeah's, as Anders is a bit more laidback.

If was funny when he brought a beer forward and gave it to someone in the front, since he'd noticed the crowd surfers had spilled the guy's beer during a song. "That's not okay."

This was also the last time we'll see In Flames with their bassist Peter Iwers, as he announced that this is his last tour in the band. After the tour, he's moving on to other things.
