The man suspected of shooting and killing two people in Holland Monday evening is dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, WZZM 13 reports.

The fatal shootings happened at an apartment in the 300 block of Stratford Way around 6:30p.m., the Holland Department of Public Safety posted on Twitter.

The victims are Holland residents 37-year-old Mani Khounvongsa, a female, and 40-year-old Gilberto Andrade-Pena, a male.

Police tracked the suspect, Bounthavee Nerasin, 51, to the Lao Buddhist Temple of Holland, near van Buren Street,  just before noon on Tuesday. While police were trying take him into custody, Nerasin shot himself in the chest. Medics attempted to resuscitate him but were not successful.

Police have not yet determined a motive for the fatal shootings.
