Hatebeak’s Parrot Metal Returns With ‘Number of the Beak’ Album
A few years ago, there was a small movement in metal, where animals were the lead vocalists of a few bands. The 'big names' of the genre were Caninus, and Hatebeak. Hatebeak is the band from Baltimore formed in 2003, and fronted by an African Grey Parrot named Waldo.
Not the most metal name, but an awesome metal vocalist.
There have been a few releases from the mighty Waldo, and in June, Hatebeak is set to release their new album, Number of the Beak!
Face-crushing guitars, head-pounding drums, bass so low you'll vacate your bowels, and vocals so scorching, so extreme, they simply can't be human! They're not. This death metal outfit with a parrot for a singer makes trashes the pathetic bird feeder you call the metal underground!
Now you'll have an excuse as to why you can't understand the lyrics, as this angry-as-f*** parrot screeches out his death metal into your earholes! Crank up the parrot-frenzy, and enjoy!
There are some special vinyl printings coming out, including clear vinyl, 'bird shit' vinyl (clear, black and white), and African Grey vinyl. I think the 'bird shit' vinyl could be pretty cool.
