Guitarist With No Arms Plays With Goo Goo Dolls [VIDEO]

A few weeks back, I wrote about 18-year-old George Dennehy.  George was born with no arms, yet plays several musical instruments and has earned a music scholarship. 

I posted a video of him performing the Goo Goo Dolls song "Iris" and wrote that I'd been playing guitar for over 20 years and George had inspired me to improve.

Today, I received an email from George's father.  He stated that fans of the Goo Goo Dolls had seen my blog post about George and told the band about it.

The Goo Goo Dolls then contacted George and asked him to come to Pennsylvania to open up for them at one of their shows.

They then invited George on stage for a perfomance of "Iris" to close out their set!

Much respect to the Goo Goo Dolls and George!  Definitely one of the coolest things I've ever been associated with in my radio career.
