GRPD Finally Caught Loose Pig Roaming SW Grand Rapids

It’s not every day you see a pet pig looking through the bars of a police car!

The Grand Rapids Police had their hands full this weekend while trying to catch a pet pig that got loose on the southwest side of town.

Sunday morning, GRPD posted on their Facebook page that they were finally able to lure the pig into custody after shook off neighbors in the 2000 block of McKee Ave, all day Saturday.

Apparently, the trick to getting a pig to come to you is to feed it snacks, which makes me wonder why did it take sooooo long for everyone to figure that out?
