TODAY from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. EST in the studios of 97.9 WGRD, “The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show” crew is partnering with Wayland in taking over afternoon drive on WGRD for the first WGRD Radiothon!
The four-hour effort is being done to help raise money and awareness for the A-T Children’s Project, and is being broadcast live by 97.9 WGRD.

Listeners can call in a request ANY SONG they want to hear, but for a price! The cooler the song, the better the price. So, if you want to hear something completely crazy or terrible, expect to pay out more.
The GRD Radiothon is also available online through WGRD's live player and on mobile devices via GRD's RadioPup app.
The beneficiary is A-T Children’s Project, which is focused on raising awareness about and money for research into Ataxia Telangiectasia, a rare neuromuscular degenerative disorder and genetic disease that primarily attacks children, causing progressive loss of muscle control, immune system problems and a high rate of cancer.
