Michigan rockers I Prevail have sold out The Intersection this Friday with Hollywood Undead! To get you ready for the show, GRD debuted I Prevail's new song "Crossroads" on the Liquid Lunch.

We wanted to know what GRD listeners think of the new song. Check out their reactions and listen to the song and let us know your opinion!

The song appears on I Prevail's debut EP Heart vs Mind, released last year. Before releasing their EP of originals, I Prevail announced themselves to the world with a cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space". The rocked out version of the pop song went viral, with now over  13 million views on YouTube.

The band talked with Empty Lighthouse about YouTube helping them into the limelight:

“YouTube, we’ve just come to find is a huge outlet to get your music out to people. Once the cover started going viral we had two music videos lined up probably about a week or two afterwards. We started popping up in the sidebar, people started responding and we directed them to go purchase our album, so yeah YouTube’s been a huge outlet for us.”

The band told Empty Lighthouse the excellent reviews on iTunes and tons of positive responses they received for Heart vs Mind were something they weren't expecting,

"We had no idea it was going to be like this. This was the first thing we’ve ever really released, we were a band just writing in our producer’s basement. Our expectations were low. We kind of expected friends and family to support with all of this but we had no idea that it was going to go this big.”

Here are some GRD listeners’ thoughts on “Crossroads”. What do you think of it? Check it out and take the poll below!
