I love Grand Rapids and all it has to offer with local music, so I decided why not feature local bands here on wgrd.com! Today's featured Fall Prey, they answered a few questions for me below! Check them out, and if you're in a local band who wants to be featured fill out this form. I don’t just feature anyone, so don’t suck and you’ll get the Jackie stamp of approval ;) Find me on facebook too, to follow all your favorite local bands, and GRD news by clicking HERE

When did the band get together, and how?
Fall Prey was formed in late 2009 by Geo and Eric. They had jammed together for years and years but had finally decided to take things seriously and form a solid band. Shorty after their formation they landed guitar player Rob who had spent some time away from music but realized that the level passion may come and go but never leave! Amanda was a mutual friend of Geo and Eric and had previously jammed with the band and actually wrote music with some other players. Once the foundation for the band was set, Amanda quickly joined.

After going through a series of bass players they finally found a solid one. Mat joined then band in early 2011.

Since then the band has been on a mission to write passionate music that people will really get into.
