I love Grand Rapids and all it has to offer with local music, so I decided why not feature local bands here on wgrd.com! Today's featured Blame The Victim, they answered a few questions for me below! Check them out, and if you're in a local band who wants to be featured fill out this form. I don’t just feature anyone, so don’t suck and you’ll get the Jackie stamp of approval ;) Find me on facebook too, to follow all your favorite local bands, and GRD news by clicking HERE

When did the band get together, and how?
Matt and Chase jammed together starting about 4 years ago, then Dylan came into the picture and we started doing covers of songs like Painkiller by Judas Priest and Wicked Game by HIM. We eventually started writing. Eventually, we found someone to tryout as a vocalist. Mike came to try out and killed it. We had Bass player, Chucky Wellington join and write some killer songs, but personal issues made it hard for him to continue. New bass player Curtis is from a band known Lacerations who broke up and was instantly interested in joining BTV.
