Update: Missing 14-Year-Old Grand Rapids Boy Safely Located

UPDATE: Police say 14-year-old Benjamin Daniel Edwards has been safely located and is in good health, Wood TV 8 reports. Further details were not provided.

GRPD are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing teenager.

Police say 14-year-old Benjamin Daniel Edwards went missing Thursday morning around 7a.m. near Lufton Ave. and Lake Dr. SE, Wood TV 8 reports.

Benjamin has brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5' 11" and weighs 150 pounds. The teen was last seen wearing a dark brown knit hat, tan Carhart-style jacket, khaki pants, and boots.

According to police, Benjamin has been known to often visit historical bridges, Wilcox Park, and the Grand Rapids Public Library downtown.
