Grand Haven in the Running for 'America's Happiest Seaside Town' [Photos]

Summer may be technically be over, but with temperatures in the 70s this week, you could still hit up the beach in Grand Haven.

See for yourself why the the beautiful Lake Michigan town is the running for Coastal Living Magazine's "Happiest Seaside Town in 2017"!

Coastal Living explains that to choose their 2017 finalists, they focused on towns that have been covered by the magazine and nominated through social media.

They looked at factors like ranking on the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, percentage of clear and sunny days, healthiness of beaches, commute times, walkability, standard of living and financial well-being of the locals, and their editors' assessment of each town's “coastal vibe.”

Grand Haven is currently in the No. 1 spot!
