Ghost hit the Riviera Theatre in Chicago on Saturday night, October 3, 2015, and they brought a great UK band with them called Purson to help rock a sold out crowd. It was a fantastic show, and it got really loud in the old theatre that's just around the corner from the Aragon Theatre in Chicago.

I've been a fan of Ghost since I first heard "Ritual" from their Opus Eponymous album a few years ago. They're a great band, and they have a sort of nostalgic vibe and sound to them that some band try and fail to achieve. These Swedish musicians kick ass at it. And they've got a cool image to go with it!

Papa Emeritus III and the Nameless Ghouls bring the rock, and their show covered all of their albums, Opus Eponymous, Infestissumam, the covers EP If You Have Ghost, and the latest, Meliora.

Meliora is an amazing album, and they played a lot of new stuff, including the first single, "Cirice", the song from their latest video, "From the Pinnacle to the Pit", and my favorite song from the album, "He Is".

The crowd was totally nuts for the band, and sang along with all the songs, which you can hear in the videos.

If you get the chance to check out this band the next time they come near, make every effort to go to the show. You won't regret it!

The newest video from the band is for "From the Pinnacle to the Pit":

One of my favorites from the new album, "He Is":
