Coming up this Friday, April 4th, Iced Earth, Sabaton and Revamp will hit The Intersection.  If you haven't seen Iced Earth or Sabaton, you owe it to yourself to check out these bands.

Sabaton is a Swedish band that I've been following for a few years now, and they're about to release a new album called "Heroes", with each song telling the story of a war hero.  Could be a hero from Sweden, Russia, England, the US...like this song, "To Hell and Back".

This one is about Audie Murphy, the soldier who still is the most decorated US soldier ever.  He received 33 awards and decorations, including the Medal of Honor.  He even received medals from France and Belgium.  He is the thing you think of when you hear the word "hero".  He rose through the ranks from private, and served in 9 major campaigns during World War II.

Then he came home and went on to star in 44 Hollywood movies, wrote a best-selling autobiography, became a successful racehorse breeder, became a successful singer/songwriter, and campaigned for PTSD research and care.

All before his death at the age of 45!

Makes you feel like a slacker, doesn't it?
