After a few tantalizingly brief ines, HBO's "Game of Thrones" has unsheathed a proper trailer for season 4, in advance of its April 6 premiere.

Not only is there a massive dragon shadow flying overhead, but it seems Jaime Lannister is faring far better since the loss of his hand, replacing it with a shiny gold one as he warns King Joffrey "the war's not yet won."

Theon Greyjoy looks to be in relatively good spirits as well, while Daenerys lords over the city of Yunkai, and Jon Snow braces the Night's Watch for their fight against the Wildlings. Also, hello Red Viper!

While awaiting "Game of Thrones" and its fourth season, HBO has cast in known roles Joel Fry as Hizdahr zo LoraqRoger Ashton-Griffiths as Mace TyrellPedro Pascal as Prince Oberyn Martell, Indira Varma as Oberyn’s lover Ellaria Sand, Yuri Kolokolnikov as Styr, Magnar of Thenn, and ‘Sherlock’ star Mark Gatiss as Tycho Nestoris. ‘Treme”s Michiel Huisman will replace Ed Skrein as Daario Naharis, and Hafthor Julius Bjornsson will take over the role of Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane from Ian Whyte, among other recastings.
