Did you guys catch this year's world yo-yo championships?!

No?! WHY NOT?!?!?!

Apparently, it was a pretty close contest this year. American Gentry Stein scored just 1.5 points higher than Japan's Takeshi Matsuura, making him this year's 1A freestyle world champion.

Now, we're not really sure about anything yo-yo related, especially when it comes to competition and scoring. But this guy can flat out yo-yo.

Walk the dog? Around the world? That's nothing for Gentry Stein!

The World Yo-Yo Contest had more ups and downs than this joke did groans, but it still brought out the best of the best in the surprisingly advanced art of the children's pastime.

Check out Gentry Stein, this year's world champion. His performance is nothing short of astounding.

And you thought you were cool because you could do that lame walk the dog trick.
