There's a previously unreleased track featuring Jimi Hendrix that has recently been posted online.

But before you get too excited, it's an instrumental track titled "Station Break" that Hendrix did with a group.

It was recorded in the mid-'60s when Hendrix was with the Harlem, N.Y.-based R&B combo Curtis Knight & The Squires.

Hendrix also worked with a variety of other artists, including the Isley Brothers, Don Covay and Little Richard.

He didn't hit it big until a few years after the recordings with Curtis Knight & The Squires, which were done in sessions in 1965, 1966 and 1967 and are being released on March 24 by Legacy Recordings. The 14-track album is titled You Can't Use My Name: Curtis Knight & The Squires (Featuring Jimi Hendrix) -- The RSVP/PPX Sessions .
