With so much crappy news in the world, it's nice to see something like this every now and then: People helping people.

A man in Perth, Australia, was boarding a commuter train when he slipped, getting his leg stuck in between the train and the platform.

Other passengers came to his aid immediately. Some alerted the conductor of the issue, while others attempted to help him get unstuck. Unfortunately, he was pretty jammed in there.

So, instead of waiting around for hours while rescue crews tried to figure out a way to get him free, this man's fellow passengers came up with a better idea: Gang together and push on the train, getting it to tilt enough to spring him free, ABC News Australia reported.

And wouldn't you know it, it worked!

Very cool.

And the man suffered only minor injuries.
