On Tuesday night when the San Jose Sharks took the ice, they had a new player skating out with them: 17-year-old Sam Tageson.

Is he an up-and-coming rookie player? Nope.

He's a kid suffering from a life-threatening heart condition who's also a youth hockey player.

With the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Tageson was signed by the Sharks to a one-day NHL contract, given full access to the team and got to skate out with them before the game.

Watch the video below. There's no chance that you won't get a little choked up while watching it. Awesome.
