Free Beer & Hot Wings: New Jersey High School Senior Suing Parents for College Tuition [Video]

Rachel Canning, a New Jersey high school senior, is suing her parents for the remainder of her Catholic high school tuition as well as her college tuition after claiming she was kicked out of the house a few months ago.

Her parents, however, say that Rachel ran away back in November after refusing to follow house rules.

The 18-year-old is now (yes, 18-year-old) is now living with friends. The father of one of her friends just happens to be her lawyer in the lawsuit.

So, she's 18. And she's suing her parents so they pay for her education?

Aren't the parents' responsibilities satisfied now that she's 18 years old?
