Senior pictures can be a big deal for high school students, especially the picture that will be put in the yearbook.

The general pictures are head shots of the students who are dressed to impress. However, one student from Schenectady High School in Schenectady, N.Y., wants to stray from the generic photo as a way to be remembered as the "witty and humorous" person he thinks he is, WRGB CBS 6 Albany reports.

Well, we'll let you be the judge of whether or not he is witty or humorous or just a straight up weirdo.

The picture he is hoping to have put in the yearbook next to the rest of the student's pictures is of him holding his cat with lasers in the background.

That's right, he's holding his CAT in front of LASERS!

The school says they'll put the picture somewhere in the yearbook, just not next to the other students' head shots. He now has a petition online to try and get the school to change its mind.
