Free Beer & Hot Wings: Florida Woman Jailed for Feeding Bears [Video]

An 81-year-old Sebring, Fla., woman was arrested last week for an odd reason.

Over the past few months, she has been feeding bears on her property.

Feeding bears is a bad thing, because it teaches them to not be afraid of people which in turn makes them come around people more. The more that bears and people are near each other, the higher the chance that there will be some kind of bear attack and someone will be injured.

After receiving numerous warnings from local authorities, 81-year-old Mary Musselman was caught again and given a summons to appear in court.

She was found guilty on two counts of feeding wildlife and officers were ordered to visit her home weekly to check in on her.

When the authorities found out that she had continued feeding bears, she was arrested, but not without putting up a fight first!
