Director Michael Bay appeared on stage at the 2014 International CES high-tech consumer electronics trade show in Las Vegas on Sunday to help the vice president of Samsung introduce a fancy new HDTV with a curved screen.

Curved-screen TVs are apparently the next big thing in the tech industry.

Bay was introduced. But when he came out on stage, he appeared to have a bit of a meltdown. He was stumbling over his words, complained about the teleprompter being wrong and eventually just walked off stage.

It's not like the questions he was being asked were difficult either. They were softballs.

Did he really need the prompter?
