One Guy's Take on Michael Sam's Announcement

Over the weekend, Missouri defensive lineman Michael Sam, the SEC's Defensive Player of the Year, came out and announced that he was gay.

Since then, nearly everyone in sports has given their two cents on the situation, commenting on how this will effect his draft status, as well as the future of openly gay athletes in football and all sports.
