A couple years ago, when Hot Wings threw out the first pitch at a West Michigan Whitecaps Midwest League baseball game, we thought that it was the worst first pitch to ever be thrown.

But step aside, Mr. Wings. There's a new worst first pitch in town!

Rapper 50 Cent was on hand at the New York Mets-Pittsburgh Pirates Major League Baseball game at Citi Field in New York on Tuesday to throw out the first pitch.

Why? Who knows?

But we'd like to believe it's because someone knew how absolutely terrible it would be.

The pitch was so bad that it nearly hit a cameraman standing about 20 FEET TO THE LEFT of home plate. At least he laughed it off!

Just in case you missed it, here's Hot Wings' first pitch for the Whitecaps from June 2012 at Fifth Third Ballpark in Comstock Park, Mich.

Hot Wings also threw out a ceremonial first pitch at a Nashville Sounds game in Nashville last August. He was in better form for that.
